Yee Lin, founder of AMPOPS, is a registered Architect in New York and New Jersey with depth in private and multi-family residential, commercial spaces, and public institution projects. In addition, Yee has been teaching in New York and Berlin since 2014, with a focus on sustainability, design solutions for building performance, and innovative construction technology.
Yee's work has been featured in several development projects in New York City, in collaboration with prominent developers and designers, including Spruce Capital, Sunlight Development Group, and Promont. AMPOP remains committed to sustainable design and innovative building practices, as demonstrated by receiving the Jury Select Award for the Hsinta Ecological Power Plant Conceptual Design International Competition. These guiding principles continue to shape our work.
Prior to AMPOPS, Yee Lin worked as project architect and manager at both BKSK Architects and Marpillero Pollak Architects on multiple award-winning projects including the Queens Public Library (Elmhurst), Gatehouse to One Madison, a West Village Penthouse, Queens Plaza Bicycle & Pedestrian Improvements Project, the Superior Officers Council, and more.
AMPOPS has deep expertise in understanding the intricacies of New York City planning and regulations to help our clients maximize their project goals with innovative design solutions and seamless integration with the surrounding environment.
Yee Lin received his Master of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Cheng Kung University, the top architectural school in Taiwan.

Thus it begins. Lines are drawn, one after another, to create space and light. Gravity disappears as spaces soar. Light becomes tangible. Hues and textures blaze and merge. Materials are used in never-before ways to awaken the senses. A vivid ambience is created.
The wanderer is overjoyed. A place that only exists in the wondrous mind is now a reality for the present and future. The voice fades and says, "Your quest is over. Now your memories are forever."
